Start Competing At The Front!
The intermediates program is designed to take you to the front of the grid, and start to compete for poles, podiums and victories.
This is achieved through acquiring the knowledge, skills and techniques required for you to be able to apply fundamentals and problem solve on each track you go to.
Who This Program Is For:
I've designed this course for those who want to level-up their driving by taking the next step in gaining the understanding that they need.
Once you understand the goal when cornering and what we are trying to achieve, then I'm sure that you will be able to start lapping quicker and more consistently than you did previously.
You may be someone who:
- is currently racing but not yet fighting at the front of the grid,
- is about to race competitively in open formula and wants foundational skills to hit the ground running,
- Is only fast on-occasion and would like to more-regularly fight for wins.
If any of these sound like you, don't worry, I know where you're at and I'm here to help.
In summary, this course is designed give you the knowledge that you need to move up to the next level, and start your journey towards being a complete racing driver.
Discovery Areas:
Further Vocabulary - As with any new area of study, the vocabulary and slang is something that you need to know as second-nature so that you can follow me when I explain new concepts.
The Friction Circle - One of the most important aspects of driving! I'll explain my own unique interpretation of the friction circle, which will visually make sense and teach you how to combine driver inputs.
Telemetry - Visually see my driver inputs, and learn what good driving technique actually looks like at each stage of braking, steering and throttle introduction.
Optimising Braking - Learn how to brake properly and crucially, adjust the braking system to suit your needs. Remember, If the braking is off, then everything that follows throughout the corner thereafter will be compromised.
Dealing with Understeer & Oversteer - I'll teach you how to problem solve these common handling issues using short corners and tight lines. If you're stuck with a car that feels this way, then learn how you can drive around it.
Wet Weather Technique - The biggest opportunities are available when the rain falls. Most drivers are lost and lack confidence in the wet. I'll give you the understanding you need to feel like a master in the wet, and make the competition look average!
...plus many more topics! Including Racing Line Tips, How to Learn a New Track, and How to Use Downforce in Technical Corners.
Stunning Quality
All of my videos are filmed in HD Resolution with exceptional sound quality for an enjoyable cinematic experience.

Whiteboard
Hand drawn examples to help your understanding with new concepts!
Telemetry
Access to my telemetry data! You'll see my entire inputs as they are being measured, which we will use to explain more advanced concepts.
Program Outcomes
After this course, you will have significantly improved confidence in your understanding and your ability. You will transform from occasionally driving well to always driving well and starting to put together competitive stints and lap times.
You will know how to optimise and better-use tools that you not been making the most of previously, such as brake balance, engine braking, short shifting, trail braking and telemetry. You will finally be a master in the rain and would have developed a better all round understanding of vehicle dynamics via the friction circle.
Your confidence will increase and you will be on your way to being a professional level driver. The key course outcomes are below:
#1 - VOCABULARY: Improved vocabulary and ability to communicate, and solve problems using the right terminology
#2 - OPTIMISATION: Increased awareness of how to optimise the racing line and available tools, with better ability to learn new tracks
#3 - DOWNFORCE, DATA, AND INPUTS: A much better understanding of how to read your own data, use downforce in an efficient way, and drive the car to the downforce level by adjusting your inputs.
#4 - WET WEATHER: Finally master the rain with improved knowledge, understanding, and ability to problem solve.
